ADDITIONAL FEES AND CHARGES
The following additional fees and charges apply to every Self-Storage Rental Agreement in effect as of March 1, 2021 (the “Agreement”):
- if the customer commits a default under the Agreement, and if a notice of default is sent by 2707043 ONTARIO CORP. o/a THE STORAGE LOCKER™ (“TSL”) to the customer, an administration fee shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $35.00;
- if the cutting of a lock on a storage unit is required for any reason set out in the Agreement, a lock cutting fee shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $75.00;
- if a re-locking of a storage unit is required for any reason set out in the Agreement, a re-locking fee shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $75.00;
- if a notice of lien is required to be sent by TSL to the customer, (as required/authorized by law) an administration fee shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $75.00;
- if, pursuant to the Agreement, TSL elects to proceed with a sale of the contents of an abandoned unit, and in the event TSL posts an advertisement for the sale, an administration fee shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $75.00;
- if, pursuant to the Agreement, the scheduling and/or performance of an auction for the sale of the contents of a storage unit is undertaken (regardless of whether or not the auction takes place), an administration fee shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $75.00;
- if a replacement lock is required to be applied to a unit, a fee for the replacement lock shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $50.00; and
- if the customer’s credit card is declined for any payment required under the Agreement, an administration fee shall be charged by TSL to the customer in the amount of $35.00.
The fees and/or charges above are cumulative and, in addition to said fees and/or charges, the customer shall also pay to and/or be liable to reimburse TLC for all such other costs and expenses incurred by TLC under the Agreement to enforce any provision of the Agreement including, without limitation, legal fees, costs of collections, and other administrative and out-of-pocket costs and expenses.
